Established in the 1970s, our martial arts organization has grown from humble beginnings—inspired by Dr. Moon—to become a standalone nonprofit in the United States. We are an independent organization of the World Tong-il Moo Do Federation.
We serve a diverse community that includes youth, families, a faith-based group, and aspiring athletes. We are focused on expanding our reach, refining our competitive standards, and building strategic alliances that support our long-term goal of Olympic inclusion.
Through Tong-il Moo Do martial arts, we empower young people with discipline and purpose, engage faith communities in values-driven programming, and inspire excellence on the path to international recognition.

Who we are
The USA Tong-il Moo Do is an event organizer of all Tong-il Moo Do related events within the United States. It holds National Tournaments. It is the governing body that sanctions National Tournaments. It is also the National Organization that approves selected athletes to represent the country in International Tournaments.
